Lícia Souza is an entrepreneur, investor, and a leading figure in the innovation and venture capital ecosystem in Brazil. She is the CEO of WE Impact, the first venture builder dedicated to female startup founders in the country, established in partnership with Microsoft and KPMG through Bertha Capital.
As an operating partner at Bertha Capital, Lícia led the structuring of WE Impact with the goal of boosting female-led startups, supporting founders and their executive teams in strategic evolution and sustainable business growth. WE Impact is connected to WE Ventures, the first multi-corporate venture capital fund in Latin America 100% dedicated to investing in women in technology.
In addition to her work at WE Impact, Lícia is an investor and board member for several startups, including fintechs and companies in the technology and education sectors, where she actively contributes to governance, business structuring, and strategic expansion. Her portfolio includes companies such as Cash.in, CashU, and Ume, as well as Pontue, which achieved an exit to FTD Educação in 2023.
