Dr. Bibiana Matte is the Co-Founder, CEO, and Scientific Director of Núcleo Vitro, a Brazilian biotech company specializing in innovative animal-free testing solutions. She holds a PhD from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), with international research experience at the University of Michigan and the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
Passionate about bridging science and business, Bibiana leads the development of advanced human cell-based models, including 3D tissue engineering and organ-on-a-chip technologies, to evaluate the safety and efficacy of products across the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industries. Her mission is to accelerate innovation through more ethical, human-relevant, and scientifically robust testing methods.
