Mauro Frota is the founder and CEO of BHOUT, the company behind the world’s first “boxing bag with a brain” — an AI-powered platform that fuses sensors, 3D computer vision, and machine learning to transform combat training into a fully interactive, gamified experience.
A lifelong martial artist with more than 30 years of practice and over two decades in the fitness industry, Mauro has spent his career studying a deceptively simple question: why do some people stick with exercise while most quit? His work draws from behavioral science, game design, and human performance to engineer experiences that drive long-term motivation and engagement.
With BHOUT, he is building what he calls a Physical Intelligence Engine — a new category of technology that merges the physical and digital worlds, turning movement itself into an interface between humans and machines.
