Alexandre Baldy, born in Goiânia, has a law degree from PUC-GO. At the age of 18, he started his own company in Anápolis. In 2011, he took over the Secretariat of Industry, Trade and Services of Goiás (SIC), where he attracted R$ 31 billion in investments and generated more than 210,000 jobs. In 2014, he was elected federal deputy, standing out as sub-rapporteur of the BNDES CPI and president of the Goiás Public Security Commission.
In 2017, he took office as Minister of Cities in Michel Temer's government and, in 2019, he was appointed Secretary of Metropolitan Transport of São Paulo, managing the transport of 10 million Brazilians per day. He is currently Senior Vice President of BYD in Brazil and commercial and marketing head of BYD Auto, a greentech company dedicated to providing zero-emission energy solutions and a world leader in electrified vehicles.
