Alexandre Baldy, a native of Goiania, holds a Law degree from PUC-GO. At the age of 18, he started his own company in Anapolis. In 2011, he took over the Secretariat of Industry, Commerce, and Services of Goias (SIC), where he attracted R$ 31 billion in investments and created more than 210,000 jobs. In 2014, he was elected federal deputy, standing out as sub-rapporteur of the BNDES Parliamentary Inquiry Committee (CPI) and president of the Public Security Commission of Goias. In 2017, he took office as Minister of Cities in the Michel Temer administration and, in 2019, he was appointed Secretary of Metropolitan Transports of Sao Paulo, managing transportation for 10 million Brazilians daily. Currently, he is the Senior Vice President of BYD in Brazil and the commercial and marketing head of BYD Auto, a greentech dedicated to providing zero-emission energy solutions and a world leader in electrified vehicles.
