Odir Dellagostin is President of the Rio Grande do Sul Research Foundation (FAPERGS) and former President of CONFAP, the Brazilian National Council of State Research Funding Agencies. He has extensive experience in science, technology, and innovation policy, international research cooperation, and strategic partnerships between government, academia, and industry. He is also a Full Professor at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel) and a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS)
