Fábia Richter is a nurse who graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande in 1996. She served as mayor of the municipality of Cristal for two consecutive terms, from 2013 to 2020, standing out for her work in public administration and in the healthcare sector.
She is a lifetime member of the Brazilian Academy of Philosophy, Letters, and Sciences and currently serves as Secretary for Women of Rio Grande do Sul.
