Gil Azevedo is the Executive Director of Unicorn Factory Lisboa, where he launched and spearheaded its growth as the leading innovation enabler organization in Portugal, onboarding annually over 300 startups in its programs and hubs. With over 20 years of experience, Gil's earlier roles included Associate Principal at McKinsey & Co in Europe, Africa and South America, and Senior Vice President at Emirates NBD Group in United Arab Emirates. He brings a global perspective and ambition to Portugal's innovation ecosystem. Gil holds an MBA from Columbia University in USA, plus an Industrial Engineering and Management degree from Instituto Superior Técnico.
