Born in Goiás, Gaúcho at heart, and a Porto Alegre citizen by choice. Married to Valéria Leopoldino, father of Pablo and João Artur. I have worked as a farm laborer, a box loader at the CEASA market, a grill cook, a fruit shop owner, and a construction materials salesman. I worked hard to pay for my education, earn a law degree, and specialize in Public Management. I served as city councilor, deputy mayor, and state deputy. Today, with great pride, I am the re-elected mayor of Porto Alegre, the city that welcomed me.
