• Europe, technological sovereignty and Artificial Intelligence are the focus of the first day of South Summit Madrid 2026 with several debates focused on how to promote a European technological ecosystem capable of competing in strategic areas such as AI, deep tech, digital infrastructure and defence. • His Majesty King Felipe VI will visit IE University's AI Forum tomorrow, Thursday, June 4, to learn about real Artificial Intelligence projects and applications developed within the European innovative ecosystem. • The fifteenth edition of South Summit will bring together more than 600 international speakers, more than 20,000 attendees, around 4,900 startups and more than 2,000 investors, corporations and institutions from all over the world in Madrid. • #SouthSummit26 is being held with the institutional support of the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, the Community of Madrid and the Madrid City Council, and with the participation of Mutua Madrileña, Google for Startups, BBVA Spark, Wayra – Telefónica Innovation and BStartup of Banco Sabadell as strategic partners.
