Jesús González is Head of BME Growth and BME Scaleup, Spain’s markets for small and medium-sized enterprises. These markets currently include more than 170 listed companies with a combined market capitalization of €22 billion.
He began his career in the settlement department of Bolsa de Madrid and has spent more than 30 years working in equity markets. He is a member of the European Commission’s Technical Expert Stakeholder Group on SMEs and the Listing Experts Task Force of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges. He is also a member of the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts.
In addition, Mr. González regularly contributes to postgraduate finance programs organized by universities and other educational institutions.
