Begoña Villacís is a lawyer and senior executive with a career that brings together the private sector, public administration and strategic vision. She holds a Law degree from CEU San Pablo University and a Master’s degree in Tax Advisory and Tax Law from Comillas Pontifical University. She spent more than a decade developing her career in the legal and corporate fields. Between 2015 and 2023, she held various positions at Madrid City Council, where, as you will all recall, she served as Deputy Mayor from 2019 to 2023. In that role, she was instrumental in leading the transformation of the capital and in managing major urban, economic and institutional challenges. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of SpainDC, the Spanish Data Centre Association, where she leads and drives the activities of a key sector for digitalisation, investment attraction and Spain’s competitiveness.
