Eoghan is a Senior Policy Officer at the European Commission, working in the AI Office responsible for overseeing EU regulatory and non-regulatory actions relating to AI. With extensive experience shaping EU innovation policy he was previously on the enforcement team for the EU’s Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act. While he is involved in the implementation of the EU’s AI Act, Eoghan is also active in shaping non-regulatory initiatives such as the EU's Apply AI strategy that focuses on scaling use of trustworthy AI by European industry.
