In 2019, after having built a strong professional career grounded in excellent academic training, Borja Aranguren launched his own venture by founding Cobee, where he served as CEO & Co-Founder until its sale to Pluxee (EPA:PLX). This has been one of the most successful exits in the recent years in Spain. He gained extensive work experience at various companies before entering the fintech world. At OnTruck, a start-up focused on developing technologies to make transportation a smooth and efficient experience, he held key positions such as Head of Sales and Director of Strategy. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising leading Spanish companies and public institutions on how to tackle key challenges and achieve differentiated, sustainable performance. He was graduated with highest distinction in Industrial Engineering from the Public University of Navarre. In 2012, he was awarded a scholarship to study at San Diego State University (California). In 2013, after completing that scholarship, he combined two years of Business Administration studies at the National Distance Education University (UNED) with his Master's in Engineering.
