Recirculate Systems is a fintech company providing the essential financial infrastructure layer for the circular economy. We have built the universal protocol—the digital refund rails—that enables the payments industry to seamlessly process circular transactions at scale. Our app-free, software-led solution integrates directly into existing Point-of-Sale (POS) and payment networks, allowing merchants to operate frictionless deposit-return schemes for reusable packaging, such as coffee cups.
By linking a reusable item's embedded RFID/NFC chip directly to the customer's payment transaction, Recirculate triggers an automatic refund the moment the item is returned to a collection point. By removing the need for customer apps or behavior changes, Recirculate empowers high-volume enterprise venues—like airports and stadiums—to meet sustainability mandates without disrupting operational speed or consumer convenience.
