LOKI has developed an on-the-move anomaly detection system for road and sidewalk monitoring. The plug-and-play hardware is installed on a vehicle, uses up to 3 cameras and captures images and data while driving at speeds up to 130 km/h; the AI anonymises the data on-edge and analyses it in the cloud. With Asfalto Sicuro® we identify defects (potholes, cracks), vertical and horizontal road signs. With AIPECRA we detect architectural barriers near pedestrian crossings. The data are authenticated and therefore usable for insurance purposes, with 20 cm accuracy. By combining satellite, meteorological and traffic data, it is possible to predict the evolution and appearance of new defects in order to minimise the number of surveys.
