Roberto Honorato
Electronic and telecommunications engineer graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais and postgraduate in Civil Aviation Management from the University of Brasília. He started in aviation in 1998, working with avionics in the maintenance and engineering industry, before becoming a civil servant at ANAC in 2008. He was the Regulatory Process Manager from 2011 and, since 2016, has been the Superintendent of Airworthiness at the Agency. He served as acting CEO and acting director, sequentially, between January 1 and August 28, 2025. Throughout his 26-year career, his work has focused on the areas of safety and the development of the aeronautical industry.
The Brazilian aircraft registry, international airworthiness agreements, aircraft certification, and production approvals are under his responsibility.
