Affonso Nina is the Executive President of Brasscom (Association of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Digital Technology Companies), where he also served as a member of the Board of Directors. With 35 years of experience in the fields of Information Technology and Financial Services, he is also a member of the National Council for Industrial Development (CNDI).
He has served as CEO and Chairman of the Board for several companies in the private sector. He has held positions at companies such as Grupo Sonda Brasil, HP (Hewlett-Packard), EDS (Electronic Data Services), GE (General Electric), Carlson Wagonlit, Genpact, Grupo Pão de Açúcar, and Booz-Allen. He is also an investor member of BR Angels.
He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA), an MBA from Columbia University (Columbia Business School), and a Board Member Certification from the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC).
