As Chief Ecosystem Officer at South Summit, I oversee content, community and climate and am responsible for identifying new areas for development within the startup ecosystem ensuring the founder is always at the core.
Previously a Principal at Adara Ventures supporting the Managing Partners in identifying, evaluating, and managing investments as well discovering new ways to attract new investments and adding value to the existing portfolio positioning the firm at the heart of the ecosystems it operates in.
Also ran content at South Summit, one of Europe's largest startup events, and continue to support the team as an advisor.
Accelerated 150+ student teams in 3 years at IE Business School. Organised 6 demo days with teams raising €15m, generating €5m+ in revenue and creating +130 jobs.
Ran weekly pitch event at IE Business School in Madrid, Venture Network, expanding to 15 cities in 5 countries and building an network of 1200 entrepreneurs.
Designed and implemented a €40m co-investment fund, Spain Startup Co-investment Fund (SSCF), with IE Business School and Enisa building a network of 100+ co-investors. SSCF invested €58m into 110 companies in 18 mths.
Built and launched 7 business angel syndicates across Ireland at HBAN, with an investment capacity of €20m+, recruiting 80+ angel investors who invested €2m into 9 startups in 18 mths.
Secured €650,000 in seed investment into 3 tech startups, as Investment Advisor in HPSU (high potential startup unit) at Enterprise Ireland and built a pipeline of 20+ potential investee companies in 12 mths.
