Project Manager: Coordinator of the European Projects Office

Cristina Gallardo is the Coordinator of the European and International Projects Office in the region of Extremadura (Spain). She holds a degree in Political Science and Public Administration and is a certified Project Manager from the International Project Management Institute. With over 16 years of experience in innovation and European project management, Cristina has led regional R&D programmes, coordinated start-up support initiatives, and contributed to international research and innovation activities as an expert evaluator. Her expertise focuses on international funding strategies and management, as well as the facilitation of global collaborations. She actively contributes to several European initiatives, including serving on the Scientific and Stakeholders Advisory Board of the European Partnership for a Sustainable Future of Food Systems. Cristina also co-leads the “Consortia for Projects” working group within EURADA, the European Association of Development Agencies. She defines herself as an innovation activist, driven by a strong European spirit and a deep commitment to delivering high-quality public service.
