Mano Bier represents the convergence of two trajectories: that of Diogo Paz Bier and Mano Changes. A communicator, entrepreneur, musician, and former State Deputy of Rio Grande do Sul for two terms (2007–2015), he has built a public career defined by his advocacy for efficiency, transparency, and innovation in public governance. He currently serves as Director of the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (FIERGS) and Coordinator of the organization’s Political Articulation Council, working to strengthen dialogue between industry, government, and society on strategic issues related to economic development and competitiveness. He previously served as Director of Innovation at Badesul Desenvolvimento, where he worked with innovation ecosystems and regional development initiatives. Today, his work focuses particularly on the energy transition, carbon markets, and the global competitiveness of Brazilian industry. He is also a commentator on Rádio Grenal and host of the program Atualidades Pampa, where he analyzes politics, economics, and innovation with an emphasis on economic freedom, institutional efficiency, and the modernization of public governance.
