Master's and PhD in Medicine: Surgical Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2004-2005 and 2006-2008). Research Associate at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Boston, USA (2006-2008). Professor in the Department of Surgery and the Graduate Program in Medicine: Surgical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine/UFRGS. His main areas of expertise are Urologic Oncology and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He currently serves as the CEO of the Hospital de Clinicas de Porto Alegre.
