I am the Director of Knowledge for Innovation Department at Secretary Science, Innovation and Technology of State of Rio Grande do Sul, which coordinates some Programs to strengthen the local semiconductor industry, support the development of living labs and smart cities initiatives, fund industry-university R&D projects for strategic sectors and lead the Regional Innovation Data Observatory.
Co-founder and worked as Project Director at Fundo Amanhã, an endowment fund that aims to support the future generation of Alumni from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil (UFRGS). Holds a Ph.D. in Management with emphasis on Innovation, Technology, and Sustainability at the UFRGS. I work as a researcher at the Innovation Research Center (NITEC) since 2016. I participate in research projects related to innovation in agribusiness, manufacturing, and services industries. I have an interest in topics related to smart cities, high-tech sectors, innovation ecosystems, innovation capabilities, and technological change.
