Social researcher and urban and social policy manager with over 20 years of experience in the design and management of human development programs and projects. He holds a degree in Anthropology, a Master's degree in Cities from the London School of Economics (LSE), and a Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Processes from EAFIT University. He is currently a PhD candidate in Social Sciences. His work focuses on topics related to strategic planning and socioeconomic and territorial development, with an emphasis on resilience strategies, social innovation, urban/rural development, violence prevention, and conflict resolution. For six years, Santiago Uribe Rocha served as Chief Resilience Officer (CRO) for the City of Medellín, a member city of the Rockefeller Foundation's 100 Resilient Cities Network. Before becoming CRO, Mr. Uribe Rocha worked for three years as Executive Director of Social Innovation at Pigmalion Consulting. There, she coordinated a series of research programs on topics ranging from market anthropology and strategic territorial planning to disaster risk management, violence prevention, and the reproductive and mental health of young people in Medellín.
