Description
The Rio Grande do Sul Lawyers' Assistance Fund (CAARS), founded in 1946, is the OAB/RS's assistance arm, focused on the care and well-being of lawyers and their dependents. It offers a wide range of its own and partner services, such as in-person and telemedicine healthcare, vaccination campaigns, extraordinary assistance, and traveling actions through the Health Bus, in partnership with OAB/RS subsections.
In addition to assistance, CAARS also promotes integration, sports, and leisure through events such as the Lawyers' Games and Race, parties, and cultural activities. It also invests in improving working conditions for the profession, with equipment and support for the structure of OAB/RS's rooms and shared offices. With a presence throughout the state, CAARS reaffirms its daily commitment to a healthier, more welcoming, and stronger legal profession.
