Sergio is a computer engineer who graduated from PUC-RJ. Throughout his career, he has held various positions at companies such as Ipiranga, Atlantic, and Banco Pactual. Notably, Sergio served as the CFO of Grupo Globo, where he also oversaw the investment committee. Under his coordination, Globo Ventures was created, and their portfolio included early investments in companies like Rappi, Hash, IDWall, Buser, Bom Pra Credito, ZAP, Ingresse, and more. Sergio played a leading role in the merger process between ZAP Imoveis and Viva Real in 2018, which eventually led to the sale of the merged entity to OLX in 2020. Additionally, Sergio served as a board member for several companies, including NET, ZAP, Orama, Ton (a joint venture with Stone), Enjoei, Cuidai, Ingresse, Buser, and Bom Pra Credito.
