Graduated in Electrical Engineering from the São Paulo State University – Unesp (1993), Master in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Engineering of Itajubá – UNIFEI (1997) and postgraduate degree in Business Strategy from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation – FGV (2004).
He is a civil servant in the career of specialist in the regulation of public energy services. In 1998 he began his activities at ANEEL in the Superintendency of Inspection of Electricity Services, later joining the teams of the Superintendency of Concessions, Permits and Authorizations for Transmission and Distribution – SCT, the Superintendency of Regulation of Transmission Services – SRT and the Advisory Board of ANEEL. Starting in March 2018, he assumed the Superintendency of Research and Development and Energy Efficiency, taking on the role of Secretary of Innovation and Energy Transition at ANEEL in May 2023, and from July 1, 2025, the position of Superintendent of Innovation and Energy Transition at ANEEL.
