Leandro Modé is a journalist and Director of Communication and Brand at Vale. He left newsrooms in 2013 in search of environments more conducive to innovation in communication. Since then, he has worked in corporate communications, press relations, government relations, public affairs, and served as publisher of the Inteligência Financeira website. Over nearly 30 years of his career, he has won the Esso Prize for Journalism, been named Communications Professional of the Year three times by Aberje, and led Communications at Todos pela Saúde when Itaú Unibanco’s program to help combat the effects of COVID-19 received the PRWeek Global Awards for Best Campaign in Latin America in 2021.
