About Alexandre Gehlen
Business administrator and hotelier with an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Dom Cabral University, in Belo Horizonte (MG), carried out in partnership with the INSEAD Institute (France) and Kellogg (USA), Alexandre Gehlen worked in lodging establishments in Austria and Germany, in addition to the family property in Gramado (RS), before founding the Intercity chain, now a brand of ICH Administração de Hotéis, a company that also includes other brands in its portfolio, such as Yoo2 and Tru by Hilton.
Between 2013 and 2017, he was president of Visão - Agência de Desenvolvimento da Região das Hortênsias and of the Board of Directors of Gramadotur - Autarquia de Turismo e Cultura de Gramado (RS). He chaired the Board of Directors of the Forum of Hotel Operators of Brazil (FOHB) for the 2018/2021 triennium. And currently he dedicates himself to the general management of ICH Administração de Hotéis, which has more than 45 hotels in Brazil in its portfolio.
