Leandro Balbinot is the Chief Technology Officer at Whole Foods Market and VP of Supply Chain & Technology for Amazon. He has over 25 years of experience in technology and transformation across various industries, including consumer packaged goods, beverages, retail, and quick-service restaurants. At Amazon, Balbinot oversees all Supply Chain and Technology strategy and delivery for Amazon Grocery brands. Prior to joining Amazon, Balbinot spent 3 years as the Senior Vice President of Global Technology and Digital at McDonald's. He also held leadership positions at Kraft Heinz Company for 6 years, serving as the Senior Vice President of Digital Product Development and Engineering, as well as the Global CIO. Additionally, Balbinot was the Head of E-commerce and CIO for Lojas Renner in Brazil, following several leadership roles at Anheuser-Busch InBev across Europe, the U.S., and Latin America. Balbinot is passionate about enhancing customer experiences and leveraging technology to improve people's lives.
