Damaris is Partner at 500 Global, and leads the Investor Relations team for LatAm, where she actively participates in the fundraising and commercial strategy of 500 LatAm Funds. She is responsible for Investor Relations efforts for 500 Global at LatAm. With over 7 years at 500 Global, she has led fundraising efforts for Latin America-focused funds. Her journey in the ecosystem began when she joined Boletia, where she learned the ins and outs of the startup world, and she served in various roles before becoming part of the 500 LatAm team. Before that, she built her career in the media industry. Within the VC industry, she co-founded Mujeres Invirtiendo and serves as a board member to several organizations, such as WeInvest Latam, as well as holds other advisory positions on initiatives focused on developing the entrepreneurial ecosystem worldwide.
