Fernanda Ribeiro is the co-founder and CEO of Conta Black. She has been recognized by the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD/UN) as one of the 50 global leaders in finance. She was named one of Forbes’ 10 Women of the Year 2023 and one of Bloomberg’s 50 Women of Impact in Latin America.
Fernanda is an IVLP Fellow – International Visitor Leadership Program. She serves as a Board Member at Instituto C&A, Clarice, and Afrobusiness, and is also a member of the Economic, Social and Sustainable Development Council of the Brazilian Federal Government. She was a finalist for the Global Tech Innovator Award promoted by KPMG.
She is the former Head of Diversity at the Brazilian Fintech Association and an Ambassador of the Ibero-American Network of Women in Fintech. Fernanda is a recipient of the EmpregueAfro Diversity Talent Award and the CITI Young Entrepreneurs Award in the category of Most Transformative Social Organization. She was also recognized on Gama Academy’s list of the 50 Hustlers to Follow, and was a finalist for the Women Tech in Sampa Award.
She holds a degree in Tourism and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Communication, and has worked in multinational companies across areas such as quality management, e-commerce, customer experience, training, and internal communications.
