Marcelo is an innovative business leader with experience at a leading global bank and in scaling startups. Started his career at Goldman Sachs and, in 2014, launched Banfox (later acquired), one of the first fintech companies to fund invoices for SMEs in Brazil. After Banfox, Marcelo co-founded QI Tech, the first SCD approved by the Brazilian Central Bank. QI Tech currently serves more than 1000 large customers with state-of-the-art technology, transacts billions monthly, and issues more than $500 million in new loans per month.
