Telmo Costa is the founder and CEO of Meta, a company that transforms businesses through innovation and technology. An entrepreneur from an early age with a keen understanding of market dynamics, he founded Meta in 1990 at the age of 24, driven by the belief that technology should serve people and enable both human and business growth.
Over more than three decades, he has led Meta’s evolution into a leading consultancy in digital transformation, innovation, and artificial intelligence, with an international presence and projects across multiple industries. Today, the company has more than 2,500 professionals working across over 350 cities in 14 countries, with headquarters in Brazil, Canada, and the United States.
Telmo holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Systems Analysis from PUCRS and a postgraduate specialization in Marketing. He is also actively involved in the development of the business and institutional environment. He is a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and previously served as president of the Instituto de Estudos Empresariais (IEE) and ADVB/RS, and as a board member of the Mercosur Biennial.
As a speaker and industry voice, he addresses topics such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, business innovation, operational efficiency, open innovation, and emerging technology trends. He also shares insights from the DXi Study, a research initiative conducted by Meta in partnership with Fundação Dom Cabral that explores digital maturity and the strategic use of artificial intelligence in organizations.
