Chief Strategy Officer

General manager with a strong focus on strategy, growth, and people-centric organizations, with a proven track record in launching and managing new businesses, M&A, product development, and corporate development/investments. Experienced in leading teams ranging from 10 to over 100 people, with full P&L ownership of strategic business units — as was the case at iFood, where I led the development of new ventures. Currently serving as Executive Director and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Starian/Softplan, one of Brazil’s leading vertical SaaS platforms, overseeing Strategy, M&A, Data Intelligence, Market Insights, and Business Expansion. In August 2025 we announced a $115M equity round led by General Atlantic to execute our M&A strategy. From 2019 to 2023, I was a Partner at Global Founders Capital, where I led over 30 early and growth-stage investments in startups across Latin America, allocating more than R$1 billion in capital. I invested in and advised companies such as Nomad, Gringo, Clara, Flash, Swap, Principia, Medway, Tenchi, Sympla, Félix Pago (Mexico/US), MoradaUno (Mexico), Bold (Colombia), and Melonn (Colombia). Previously, I served as Chief Strategy Officer at iFood, leading M&A, strategic planning, consumer & market insights, PMO, investor relations, and the creation of new business verticals such as iFood Shop, PDV, and Supermarkets. I’m also an angel investor in ~20 startups, including Nomad, Medway, Stay, Plaza, Coalize, Banquish (MX), MoradaUno (MX), Momento Seguros (MX), CuboPago (Central America), among others. International experience across the US, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Endeavor mentor. MBA from Harvard Business School, supported by Instituto Ling and the Lemann Fellowship.
