Fernando Gadotti is the co-founder and CEO of Tako, a modern workforce management platform that is redefining how companies in Brazil manage payroll and employee data. Tako is his third entrepreneurial venture, founded in 2022 after the successful exit of DogHero, Latin America's largest pet services platform, where he was also a co-founder. Gadotti began his career at Gávea Investimentos, one of Brazil's leading investment firms, before transitioning to the other side of the table as a serial entrepreneur. His experience building and scaling companies revealed a recurring challenge: the lack of a single source of truth for workforce data, which made it difficult for him as a leader to make fast, informed decisions. That's why he founded Tako, a platform that manages the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, and integrates critical HR workflows such as PTO requests directly into payroll. Fernando holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from PUC-Rio and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
