Gaston Taratuta is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aleph Group. As a member of the board of directors, Gaston and his team have been the driving force behind Aleph’s success since its inception in 2005. Before founding Aleph, Gaston served as President of UOL Operations for Universo Online, Brazil’s largest internet service provider and web content company. Born and raised in Argentina, his early challenges instilled the tenacity and grit that define his leadership today, qualities that became the catalyst for his lifelong vision of transforming the world’s digital landscape through the currency of education. Gaston holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Fundación Altos Estudios (Buenos Aires), a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, and a Master’s degree in International Marketing from Florida International University. His entrepreneurial spirit earned him EY’s Global Entrepreneur of the Year 2022, solidifying his reputation as one of the most visionary business leaders in the global digital economy. Under his leadership, Aleph has grown into a global infrastructure powering digital advertising, payments, and education across more than 130 high-growth markets, partnering with over 55 global platforms. The company’s investor base includes CVC Capital Partners, Sony, Mercado Libre, Snap Inc., and X Corp. (formerly Twitter) each recognizing Aleph’s unique role in enabling digital inclusion and sustainable growth worldwide. Aleph also leads a global social initiative dedicated to free digital education, training tens of thousands of professionals and small businesses through its Digital Ad Expert platform. As a member of UNESCO’s Global Skills Academy, Aleph is helping bridge the global digital skills gap, reinforcing Gaston’s belief that education is the true currency of transformation. Both Stanford University and Florida International University have published case studies on Aleph’s global impact, underscoring its role in accelerating digital growth and inclusion over the past two decades.
