Cristieni Castilhos is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MegaEdu, a non-profit organization whose mission is to connect all public schools in Brazil to high-quality internet access. She serves as an Ambassador for Connectivity in Remote Areas, an initiative led by the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and is a Board Member of the Universalization Fund for Telecommunications Services (FUST). With over 10 years of experience in civil society, she previously served as CEO of QEdu, an education data edtech company, and was recognized as one of the 50 Ibero-American Young Leaders by the Government of Spain. Earlier in her career, she worked in the impact investment sector, leading the expansion of the New Ventures fund and social entrepreneurship accelerator across Latin America.
