CHRISTIAN GEBARA
Christian Gebara is the CEO of Vivo, the leading carrier in the country with 117 million customers and BRL 60 billion in revenue. Gebara has driven Vivo’s innovation agenda through company acquisitions, investments in startups, and the development of a digital ecosystem, while also implementing and promoting a diversity program across the organization.
He also serves as an Endeavor Ambassador, supporting and accelerating entrepreneurial projects across multiple sectors.
Gebara is a member of Vivo’s Executive Committee. He has been part of the Telefónica Group since 2006, holding strategic positions both at the global headquarters in Madrid and in Brazil, where he previously served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Earlier in his career, he worked at McKinsey & Company (Spain), JP Morgan Chase (USA), Banco ABC Brasil, and Citibank (Brazil), among others.
He has been recognized four times as a Top Executive in the IT & Telecom sector.
The executive holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) in São Paulo and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
