Cynthia Zanoni is a Brazilian technology leader, book author, and advocate for diversity and inclusion, with more than 16 years of experience driving innovation and creating opportunities for women in technology. Inspired by her own journey from underrepresented communities, she is passionate about helping women access education and build meaningful, sustainable careers in the tech industry. In 2024, she was recognized by the UN Global Compact Brazil as one of the most influential leaders advancing gender and racial equity in technology. As the founder and CEO of WoMakersCode, Cynthia has built programs that empower women through education, mentorship, and employability, reaching more than 350,000 women across 30 countries. The organization received multiple honors, including the Nelson Mandela Award, the Seals of Human Rights and Diversity and Racial Equality, and the highest Women in Technology award in Brazil from Cisco Networking Academy, reflecting its transformative impact on women’s careers and lives. Cynthia is also a Global Cloud Advocate at Microsoft, where she focuses on Developer Tools and AI, helping developers adopt modern technologies and unlock their potential. Her work has reached and inspired over one million developers across LATAM to learn new skills and advance their careers.
