With a 30-year career in technology, Rubens Mendrone is the founder and CEO of LINDA Lifetech, a Canadian company that uses artificial intelligence for the early diagnosis of breast cancer. An AI specialist from MIT, Rubens has worked with this technology for more than 15 years and built a solid track record at industry giants IBM and Oracle. He is a partner and advisor at Untaken.AI and Buildbox IT Solutions. In his most recent appointment, he became the Director of Artificial Intelligence at LIDE—the largest business leadership group in Brazil—for the states of Santa Catarina (SC) and Rio Grande do Sul (RS). His mission is to advance the strategic and ethical use of AI to accelerate businesses, promote social development, and positively impact lives globally.
