Fernando Guerreiro de Lemos holds a Law degree from the University of Brasília (UNB). He served at Banrisul as president (2003 to 2010) and as director (1996 to 1999). In 1995, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Banrisul S/A Corretora de Valores Mobiliários e Câmbio. Between 1990 and 1991, he served as president of the Caixa Econômica Estadual, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Distribuidora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários do RS (DIVERGS), and as a member of the Board of Directors of PROCERGS. At the Military Court of Justice of Rio Grande do Sul, he held the position of Military Appellate Judge from 2010 to 2023, where he served as Inspector-General Judge (2012 to 2014), Presiding Judge (2016 to 2018), and Vice-Presiding Judge (2021 to 2023). He currently holds the positions of president of Banrisul (since 2023); president of Banrisul Cultural (since 2025); vice-president of the Board of Directors of Banrisul (since 2023); and president of the Board of Directors of Banrisul Pagamentos, Rio Grande Capitalização, Icatu Participações, and Rio Grande Seguros e Previdência (since 2023).
