Maria Borba, PhD, is the CEO and co-founder of Dairy Tech (MilkTest), a biotech startup focused on rapid testing solutions for the dairy sector. Combining her experience as a researcher, professor, and entrepreneur, she works to accelerate the adoption of innovative technologies that improve milk quality, efficiency, and sustainability. Maria led Dairy Tech to become the Global Winner of the South Summit Brazil 2026 Startup Competition and continues to advocate for stronger connections between science, industry, and entrepreneurship in agrifood innovation.
